Leaf Cover Overview
A mesh debris cover for the pool — shipped in a pre-fabbed size, cut down to fit on site, then sent in for border and grommets.
Six stock sizes in black or blue. This page covers sizing, how the border gets added, install options and lead times.
What a Leaf Cover Is
A leaf cover is a lightweight mesh debris cover that sits over the pool and keeps leaves and debris out of the water, so the pool stays cleaner and the filter works less. Some customers put one on for the off-season and pull it in spring; plenty of others leave one on year-round. It is not a safety product on its own.
Covers ship in pre-fabbed stock sizes — the material is made in 12-foot-wide strips joined together to reach the width you order. You cut that oversized cover down to the pool on site and mark where the grommets go. The finished edge comes last, once the cover is sized to the job.

Border added after
You mark the cover on site. From there, either install the border and grommets yourself, or ship it back to All-Safe and we do it.

How a Cover Comes Together
A leaf cover takes two visits and a round trip through our shop. Build both into your schedule and your price.
1. Order the size
Pick the pre-fabbed size that covers the pool with material to spare on every side. It arrives sewn to that size with no border yet.
2. Cut to fit and mark
On site, cut the cover down to the pool and mark your grommet locations. Do both off tension — a cover marked while stretched pulls wavy once released.
3. Send it back in
Ship the cut, marked cover to All-Safe with the border order form so it can be matched to your account straight away.

4. We sew and grommet
We lay the cover out, check the cut and the marks are right, then sew the border and install the grommets. Allow 2–3 days in house.
5. Back to you, then fit it
Ship it back with any carrier you like, or drop it at our office and we will call you when it is ready. Coming back to you we bill the border, grommets and shipping.
You cut, we sew. All-Safe does not cut or trim covers — we check your cut and marks, then sew the border and set the grommets to them. A cut that comes in wrong cannot be corrected here, so measure twice before the blade comes out.
Two Ways to Use a Leaf Cover
Both go on the same brass anchor system — what changes is how the cover clips to it. Know which way the job is going before you order, so the right attachment hardware is on the truck.
Cover on its own
You set the anchors — keyhole brass or threaded brass, depending on the deck and install type.
The cover attaches with a bungee on a cone head clip, straight to the anchor. No round loop clip needed.
Air pillows go underneath to hold the middle of the material up out of the water. Debris cover only — no safety value.
Cover over a safety net
The net’s anchors are already in the deck and already have cone head clips on them — same anchor system, nothing new to drill.
The cover attaches with a round loop clip and bungee onto that existing cone head clip.
No air pillows — the net carries the cover. The net is what provides the safety; the cover keeps the debris out.
A cover can be added later. A customer who already has a safety net can add a leaf cover six months or a year down the road — the anchors and cone head clips are already there, so it is just the cover, round loop clips and bungees. Same job either way: at the same time as the net, or any time after.
What You Order
Everything is sold separately, so the parts list changes with the job.
The cover
One of the six stock sizes in black or blue, shipped sewn to size. Clearance and pre-cut pieces show up in the shop when we have them.
Border & grommets
Only order these if All-Safe is doing the border. You do not add them to the order up front — send your order form back in with the cover and we bill the border and grommets when we install them.
Doing the border yourself? Order grommets and washers loose instead.
Anchors & attachment hardware
No net underneath: keyhole or threaded brass anchors, cone head clips and bungees.
Going over an existing net: the anchors and cone head clips are already there — you just need round loop clips and bungees.
Plus the hook tool for pulling the cover down to the anchors.
Extras

A Leaf Cover Is Not a Safety Barrier
Set this straight with the customer before you sell one. On its own, a leaf cover keeps debris out of the water — it is not a safety cover, it will not hold weight, and it does not replace a pool fence or a safety net. A person or pet that gets onto a leaf cover can end up underneath it.
If the customer wants safety as well as a clean pool, that is the leaf-cover-over-a-net install — the net is what provides the safety, not the cover.
Put the expectation in writing either way. The Customer Acknowledgement Form exists for exactly this; build it into your sales paperwork so the customer signs off on what the cover does and does not do.
Ordering, Lead Times & Seasonal Pricing
Two things drive the timeline: whether the size is stocked, and whether All-Safe is sewing the border.
Stock vs made to order
12′×12′, 24′×36′, 24′×48′ and 36′×48′ ship from stock. 36′×60′ and 48′×60′ are made to order — allow an extra 1–2 days before they ship.
Border sewing
Border and grommet work takes about 2–3 days in house once your cover reaches us, plus transit each way.
Getting it to us
Ship it back with any carrier you like — that part is your call — or drop it at our office in Orange and we will call you when it is ready to collect.
Getting it back
If it fits UPS, we arrange that and bill it with the border and grommets. If it is too large and has to move freight, we will reach out with the LTL cost before it ships.
Warranty
Leaf covers carry a 1-year limited manufacturer warranty covering parts and materials only. Labor is not included — as the installer, you provide your own workmanship warranty to the customer.
Normal wear from sun, weather and handling is not a warranty item, and neither are cutting or marking errors. Since you cut the cover to fit before it comes in for border work, measure twice — a bad cut cannot be corrected here.
